 Onsen Hotsprings is a big part of Japanese culture. As a big fan of both natural onsen and hiking, this "closest onsen from clouds" Honzawa Onsen is somewhere I would definitely want to make a visit :)

Small outdoor onsen 2150 meters up a trail in Nagano

Honzawa Onsen Unjo no yu（本沢温泉 雲上の湯）is a 1-hour hike up in the summer and a 4-hour hike up during the winter onsen rich in beautiful wildflowers. It only has a small mountain hut with a small outdoor onsen near it.

The onsen was opened in the Meiji Era and has been around for more than 130 years in Yatsugatake. It was originally built for people that move in between Saku and Suwa areas for resting and healing.

The best thing I learned from meditation

What helped me the most from meditation is that I'm a lot better handling things. Especially to the bad things that happen. When bad things happen, we tend to be upset, angry, worried... The mind usually travels towards the negative. But when you practice meditation, it helps you not to let your mind travel to the negative. It tries to go in that direction, but goes back to neutral. Because things happen, but how you view that situation is up to you. When I started to realize this, it made a huge impact on my outcomes.
